Stephanie Batstone, Managing Partner, NyRad
Stephanie has over 20 years of private and public sector experience in major defence procurement across several Federal government departments and as a consultant in the Canadian defence market. As Deputy Director, Value Proposition at Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, she played a key role in the development and implementation of the new Value Proposition and Industrial and Technological Benefits policy as outlined in the Defence Procurement Strategy.
Stephanie brings a deep understanding of the development and implementation of public policy, including building domestic supply chains, negotiating international contracts and navigating major defence procurement. She has provided strategic and practical support to clients pursuing major government procurements as well as business consulting to industry and associations wishing to grow their organizations and be competitive in the marketplace. Her public and private sector experience has provided Stephanie with a focused understanding of the new defence procurement requirements, affording her the ability to provide timely advice to clients on how best to achieve successful outcomes
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Ottawa and a Certificate in Systems Thinking from Cornell University. Stephanie is also a founder of a non-profit organization focused on children’s rights.
